Respect
The League received the following email:
"I reffed the Crosspool Juniors Red and Brampton Rovers u11s game yesterday and both teams really wanted to play football, played the game in a brilliant spirit and were really well supported by the managers, coaches and parents. All applauded good play by either team. A special mention for the Brampton manager who kept encouraging his players even though they were losing.
This and the following game between Crosspool Green and Ecclesfield Red Rose - higher quality play but again played in a fabulous spirit - are why I carry on reffing games. Really brilliant to see 4 teams who absolutely want to win but want to play good football as well!
Kind regards
Phil Gilbert"
