Sheffield & Hallamshire CFA is supporting a Football against Homophobia campaign throughout February.
At the end of 2014, The Football Association held two Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGB&T) awareness raising events at Wembley and St Georges Park which was attended by Clubs, Leagues, County FAs and partner organisations.
These sessions looked at practical advice and support to tackle homophobia, biphobia and transphobia within football.
During this month of action we are asking our affiliated clubs and leagues to get involved in raising awareness. S&HCFA would love to hear about how your Club or League are supporting this month of action, and will reward the best initiatives with:
1st Prize: £50 reduction of the cost of a 1st for Sport Level 1 or 2 in Coaching Football
2nd Prize: A set of Rainbow laces for your team (15 sets)
3rd Prize: A Football Goody bag
Send us your photos and/or a brief written account of what your league or club is doing to support this event, either via email to Eva.Egginton@sheffieldfa.com or tag us in your pictures via twitter using @GWFDO_Sheffield
All entries need to be submitted by Monday 26th February 2015.
Good Luck!
