Sheffield & District Junior Sunday League (SDJSFL) have today agreed to incorporate the Sheffield & Hallamshire County Football Association (S&HCFA) junior disability fixtures within their league structure as of 2015/16 season.
SDJSFL have a strong track record of growth and excellence, as illustrated by their recent County FA Charter Standard League of the Year award, plus their year-on-year growth in club membership.
Jason White, Disability Football Development Officer for S&HCFA said: “Growing the junior disability football offer and aspiring to be the best is essential for S&HCFA, and this partnership is one that delivers on all fronts.”
Jack Matthews, County Development Manager for S&HCFA went on to add: “We want to create provision within our County that is sustainable for the long term. This partnership will allow that to happen and ensure that junior disability football from its inception is administered to the highest standard, providing players with a quality football experience.”
Nathan Batchelor, League Secretary for SDJSFL added: "The League is always looking to develop and we see adding disability football to the League programme as part of the process of creating football opportunities for all."
