Referee Update
A list of referees who are registered and able to do games in this League can be found at http://sheffieldjfl.pitchero.com/page/referees/list-of-league-referees/list-of-league-referees-5766/ This List is changing all the time. It is important to check that list as they may have a card but may not be able to referee ie if they are suspended.
Roughly 1 in 3 applications to register as a League referee are getting rejected as the referee does not have a CRC (CRB in old money) that was after 1/1/2010. Any before that date need to be renewed or they, the clubs using and the League would be breaking the law by appointing them following recent legislation.
You should ask your opponents in advance who the referee will be so you can check on the League's list of registered referees that will appear online. If you are the home team, tell referee@junleague.com who the ref is and they can appointed on the Full Time system.
The card is an ID card, it should be used in the same way a player ID card is used.
If you do not have a registered referee then your opponents should be asked to appoint one. If neither of you have one them a stand in MUST be agreed. You cannot postpone a fixture for not having a referee. You cannot use a person who is not registered on a regular basis.
If you are without a referee then you need to email referee@junleague.com before 8pm on the Monday before the fixture with the match details and contact details. That will be sent out to the refs on the league list, and they will contact you if they are able to do the fixture. If no response from referees than you and your opponents will need to agree on a stand in official for that game.
If you need to get someone on a referee or mini-soccer referee course then please use this new feature http://sheffieldjfl.pitchero.com/page/development/league-development/register-your-interest-in-courses-5714/
