Feedback from Open Day
The League ran 3 Open Days, with the aim to find players who were without a team a team and those teams looking for players some players.
74 players/parents registered
113 teams registered looking for players
70 players registered
4 players not registered yet
The really success story was 14 under 16 players turned up to the first season, and Valley Juniors took them all on as a new team.
A big thank you to Scott Concannon for all his help with this.
All players who registered with the scheme were sent an email:
"Hi All,
Thanks for registering your child in the Leagues 'find a club' scheme which has been running for the last 3months, hopefully your child is now playing football within the Sheffield & District Junior Football League. If not please find below a complete list of teams still looking for players, any problems contacting these contact please get back to me and I'll do what I can to sort something out. The League would like feedback on how you found this service, idea's on how we could improve the event all feedback good and bad will be used to make next years events better so please help us make this better, if you could give a quick reply on if your child has found a team so we can judge how successful its been and anyone not finding a team could you also let me know any reason why this hasn't happened.
Regards Scott"

"Hello
Just wanted to send you a quick email to say that my son is now playing for Pro Soccer Pumas, which is all down to you, we would probably have never found them or knew they were looking for players if it wasn't for the find a club scheme. He is now much happier, it's a great service and thank you."
"Following on from the open day in June, xxx has now been selected for the Wickersley Youth team. Thanks again for your help"
