FA Regulations of Foreign Players
See information below from the FA regarding international clearance and FIFA requirements.
All new registrations from players who were born outside ENGLAND and are over the age of 10 will require international clearance unless they have recently been registered with an ENGLISH club or were registered with an ENGLISH club before there were 10.
It is not enough to just ask them if they have played abroad, international clearance is required to check this.
To gain international clearance for a minor they need to complete the forms attached, be residing with parents in the UK (proof is needed of this) and send copies of their passport etc.
This is to check if they have played abroad there are not any outstanding suspensions or disciplinaries.
Remember this applies to players born in Scotland, Wales and Ireland and also to players who could have recently played abroad.
Article 19 and the international clearance form and notes are attached.
If anyone has any queries about NEW players over the age of 10 who may need international clearance then please contact the FA.
Anyone who played in the league in previous seasons will not be required to gain international clearance.
