FA Charter Standard important to 97% of all clubs
Message From the FA:
FA Charter Standard important to 97% of all clubs
A big thank you to all those people who contributed to the recent survey aimed at gaining your views on the impact, appeal and motivations for FA CS as well as shaping the programme for the future.
The key findings are that 91% of all clubs are proud to be FA Charter Standard, that CS clubs and leagues grow and retain teams greater than non-CS clubs. Findings from the survey will be communicated in the near future.
Four clubs each received 10 Nike footballs, three clubs and one league received a £250 coach education bursary and two winners received tickets to the England v Lithuania game as winners of the prize draw for completing the survey.
Criteria Review Group Meeting
A Criteria Review Group met on the 4th March 2015 to review the existing FA Charter Standard criteria and how if and how they need to change to support The FA Chairman's England Commission and the emerging FA new strategic aims for 2015-20.
One of these aims is to raise the standard of coaching throughout the country. Including representatives from CS Clubs and Leagues and utilising the feedback from over 1,750 respondents via the survey, any new proposed changes will be agreed and communicated by the start of next season.
